2009 Lineup
well, the wait is over. The Dead, Bob Dylan, String Cheese. those are the 'big' ones. they definitely seem to be setting a tone at this year's festival.
at first, i though 'eh, well that's cool. i'd love to see dylan, even if he isn't the prophet he once was'. But then I started reading down the list. Broken Social Scene? Probably just about the coolest band I can imagine seeing (please let it be an evening show). Femi KUTI?!?! That dude's amazing (his dad, Fela Kuti, has been one of my favorites for years). add that to Nas, Man Man and the obligatory jam bands and you end up with a pretty diverse lineup with some probably spectacular shows.
